Registration Process
We are excited to start working with you.
To help you through the process of registration, we’ve created a few tutorial videos for you to walk through this step by step. Age Africa Agency is part of the Age Family, which is sometimes referred to as “Age Network” and includes Age Makers and Age Media. These names you will encounter in the onboarding process.
STEP 1 – APPLICATION
The first step is your application to Age Africa Agency as a MCN (it is a formal request to be admitted to the MCN of Age):
After you’ve completed the application, we start the review process to check if your channel meets the qualifications. This includes if the YouTube Partner Program is enabled, Your AdSense is connected, that there are no active strikes on your channel, and that your channel is following all of YouTube Policies.

STEP 2 – SIGN THE DIGITAL CONTRACT AFTER THE REVIEW IS SUCCESSFUL
When your channel passes the review, then a digital contract will be sent to you by e-mail. To help you complete the signing, you can watch Finalizing The Application Process with Age Africa Agency.
You’ve signed the digital contract with us and added your payment details.
STEP 3 – ACCEPT THE INVITATION TO ADD YOUR CHANNEL TO AGE
Now you’re only one step away from becoming part of the #AgeAfricaFamily. We’ll now send an invitation to your channel to join Age Africa Agency. You can follow the video to accept the invitation here: Accepting your invite to AGE Africa Agency.

For most creators or publishers, you are all set and done, but sometimes we need some more steps.
STEP A4 – PERMISSIONS:
When we help you with extra additional services, like full channel optimization, or community management, we might need direct access to your channel, and you have to approve that. To add us with the correct permissions, follow How to add Age Africa Agency to your Creator Studio Permissions.
STEP A5 – MANAGED CHANNELS
Managed Channels:
In some situations, for example with respect to the optimization of nett revenue, or as to additional services like editing, optimizations, and community management, we can work closely or co-own the channel with you/your Brand. Then your channel will be added to our “Managed CMS”. In case of Managed Channels, You will give up a little bit more control over your channels. We will only advise you to do that with some clear benefits in mind and will deal with it diligently, since we know that it is your baby we nurture.
In this case, the steps to invite you (as described in step 3) are similar but with a few different rules, which you’ll see in the video “Accepting your invite to Age Africa Agency -Managed”. After this invite is accepted, it’s important that we also get access to the channel directly through your permissions, since this is requested by YouTube for all managed channels. If your channel is connected to our “Managed CMS” we need “Owner permission” on the channel with the email address we will provide to you.
